Biography

Actor, Host, Producer, are just a few ways to describe Monica Bassi.

Monica’s career kicked off as host of a web show called Visions in Production, or VIP TV in Tampa, Florida. From there she went on to host and co-produce a local dating show called Flavor of the Week. Monica then took her on-camera charisma to the next level when she enrolled in the Performer’s Studio Workshop; an Eric Morris process acting school. She went on to produce four short films and act in five. In 2010 she was the cover girl of a Florida magazine ‘City Masala’.

Her passion for media drove her to New York City where she was cast as the lead in a short film called Romancing with Life which has been going strong in the festival circuit across the USA and Canada. Monica has also hosted segments for Zing TV and is currently producing a lifestyle show about vegetarian dining called ‘Meatless Manhattan’.

Continuing her acting education at the Bova Actor’s Workshop, Monica claims she is only getting started.
